After dinner was over, the prince would relax by listening to sweet, relaxing melodies. One evening, the prince was a bit restless. He wanted his favourite singer to sing a song , which she had never sung for him. She sang of the beauties of the world, of her travels to far away places, of happy people who lived in golden cities.
The prince liked the song and wanted to know where there were such beautiful places as described in the song, beyond the garden walls. He wanted to know all about the people living in such places and whether the world was even better than the life in the palaces. The singer told him that there was a lot to explore in the mysterious world.
The prince was now very curious. He wanted to see all of them. He felt as if he had been caged in the palace, totally unaware of all the wonders of the world. He now wanted to go out and see the outside world. He expressed his desire to his father to organize a trip outside the palace.
