After some time, prince Siddhartha and princess Yasodhara got married and were very happy. The king gifted them three wonderful palaces for the couple, so that his son would not want to leave the kingdom. The three palaces were built in the middle of a huge beautiful park, which had a large wall to prevent anything unpleasant from coming near the prince.    The king did all he could to make the new homes appealing to the prince His most skilled musicians would play throughout day and night. The servants were all beautiful, young dancer and the chefs cooked delicious new food every day to tempt the prince and princess. The king wanted the prince to never go outside the palace.    For many years, Siddhartha lived a luxurious life. He was entertained the whole day and not allowed to see anything sad, unpleasant or horrid. If a servant girl became sick, she would be taken away from there and brought back only after she had recovered.    Everyone was instructed not to mention anything that was distressing or grim. The prince never even saw a faded or dying flower, as any such flower would be immediately cut off. The prince lived in a bubble, totally cut off from the real world.  Time passed like this. Soon, Siddhartha and Yasodhara had a son, RahulaSiddhartha’ s life was going like a heavenly dream. The king was happy that his plans for his son were working out so well.
